Archimedes

ARCHIMEDES aims to build trust in new technologies and will thus contribute to accelerating the energy transition, security, and protection for the future 5.0 society.

Project Objectives

  • Paving the way towards a new era of technological advancements that will achieve prolonged reliability and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) for GaN, SiC, MEMS monitored by an ultrastable quantum reference, aiming for an operational lifespan of up to 120,000 hours.

  • Delivering technological advancements based on eco-design that will lead to the implementation of digital activities and real-time services for Electronic Control Systems (ECS) to monitor extended durability.

  • Implementing efficient mechanisms that will facilitate and enable standardization and qualification procedures, promoting economies of scale.

  • Ensuring the implementation of tools, technologies, and mechanisms that will strengthen Europe's competitiveness for a resilient and cyclical economy.
